Today marks our anniversary of Tyler's Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis. We don't "celebrate" it but we recognize it and take time to talk about and remember how far we've come. This year is FIVE years. That is more than half of his life so far...11,000 plus finger pokes, two insulin pumps, countless juice boxes and 1,825 restless nights for me! It is hard to believe that five years has gone by so fast.
We will continue to hope for a cure and until then work hard at providing the best care we can to keep Tyler healthy, We are so proud of him!
