My Wish List

Since my shopping is done and my gifts are made packaged and mailed, I thought Iwould make note of the things I am wishing for this year..

The Cutest bag ever- leather and suede with every color I wear not to mention that it is huge- and I like my bags BIG!

Ipod Nano- you can not only have your tunes handy, but photos and videos too! I may be the only 30something left in the world without one of these puppies!

Winter Coziness from the Gap- because it is cold here!

Fantastic Martha Stewart kitchen stuff from Macy's, these are just a few of my faves.

New square griddle- because my old one got broken in the move and I am currently only able to make 2 slices of french toast at a time- I could make four with one of these!

and since it is just a WISH list.... one of these! A Boston Terrier Puppy.

Christmas Countdown!

Tyler and I decided to bake some of our favorite Christmas cookies tonight- Chocolate Crinkles.

They are so good that they are not going to last in this house until Christmas eve! Don't worry Santa, I've got backup.

I wanted to get a nice picture of the tree before the Christmas morning frenzy leaves the living room in a mess- I love how at night the lights from the tree are reflected in the windows.

Here's what happens when you almost drop your camera while trying to take a picture of your tree- I actually like this shot! It is a cool effect.

I will leave you with a picture of Summer who was bugging me while I was taking pictures of the tree. I think she may know that there are treats for her wrapped up under the tree!

First day of Christmas break!

So what did we do? We crammed a whole lot of holiday fun in! Starting with seeing this movie

Then a visit to the Big guy himself at the mall

Folloewd up with a drive around town to look at Christmas Lights- there's a guy in our neighborhood that's been crowned "Clark Griswold" the pictures don't give the full effect- there is music and motion

Too much fun!!!

I love this!

Really- this cracks me up everytime I watch it. Maybe because it is Tylers favorite song or maybe because I used to watch every Peanuts TV special that was on tv when I was a kid.

Let it snow!

We woke up to a snowy world this morning- the forcast called for 1-2 inches! This is more like a foot.

Where is my driveway??

Oh- there it is!

Reindeer ranch

There is a ranch not far from here that has real live reindeer that you can get up close and personal with, so when my family was here for Thanksgiving we all piled in the car and went to check it out. It was really fun, but cold out! The reindeer would come right up to us looking for Graham crackers ( that is what the people who run the place gave us to feed the deer ) and would let us pet them. The boys were totally impressed by the huge antlers on their heads.... and we thought reindeer only lived at the North Pole!

Cold.

The nasty Ice storm that is wrecking the midwest has been light on us, for as much havoc and damage the ice causes, it sure is stunning when every tree and blade of grass is covered in a coat of ice. I am so thankful that I have a big garage to park my car in- if I had to scrape Ice everytime I wanted to go somewhere, I would be hibernating all winter long!

SNOW!

Little by little the snow has been piling up. The boys did not even come inside when they got home from school today- they threw down their backpacks and started making snowballs! How cute are they?
